Then ride Dorrie until she gets to where the Double Doors are. To get there, the player must travel to where you would find Dorrie. The player will need to be Metal Wario to collect the 8 red coins in the speeding river in Hazy Maze Cave. Collect all 8 red coins to gain a Power Star. There will be the ? Switch, and 8 red coins. Look up at the sun, and you will be transported to the Rainbow Tower. When you have 14 Power Stars and you are playing as Mario, there should be a stream of light shining at the ground. Collect the 5 Silver Stars, while avoiding the many enemies, to gain a Power Star. Break them, and you shall be transported to Battle Fort. In the Courtyard outside the castle, proceed to your right. Collect the 8 red coins to gain a Power Star. Back-flip into it, and you will be transported to an aquarium. In the room leading to Jolly Roger Bay, there will be a black alcove in the wall to the right of the entrance. Beat it again under 21 seconds to gain the second Power Star. Then the player will be transported to the secret slide. While in the Character Selection room, the player must jump in the Peach stained glass on the right. Star 7: Breathtaking View from the Bridge.Star 3: 5 Secrets in the Shallows and Sky.Star 7: Switch Star of Cool, Cool Mountain. Then, the player has to start the game as Yoshi. Yoshi, sleeping on top of the castle (throwback to the original game) is woken up by Lakitu. Apparently Luigi and Wario have also seen the letter, and come with Mario to the castle to get the cake, too. Yoshi catches one of the Eight Glowing Rabbits outside in the front of the castle. In the beginning, Princess Peach (Toadstool) sends Mario a letter stating exactly: Dear Mario, Please come to the castle. The white door was theorized by fans as originally going to be the key to Waluigi's door, but this has been disproven. You never see the room inside the white door either - the game camera stays outside, as it does for the three character doors. Before getting the star, and afterwards, all that happens when you enter the door, is hear Boos' laughs, and being forced to walk out again and groan. The white door in the character selection room has no other purpose than to award one of the Castle Secret Stars. It's unknown where they go, but the regular rabbits will still remain. Once all of the Glowing Rabbits are found, you cannot see them again. If you see the glowing rabbits, but don't catch them or catch them without saving your progress, you can still catch them later on.Yoshi looks for the Glowing Rabbits outside in the front of the castle. If a glowing rabbit before the eighth one is caught, you get a chance to save your current progress. Additionally, they appear to be related to each other and are all male, as each rabbit then before states that it is the "second fastest of eight brothers". The final glowing states that it is the "fastest" and "eldest". Much like the rabbits, these rabbits are also remodeled after MIPS from the original Super Mario 64. This is by far the fastest way to summon all the eight glowing rabbits. If none are glowing, then just repeatedly enter and exit the castle and try again.
#SUPER MARIO 64 DS THE WHITE DOOR PATCH#
The six rabbits will all return to their places in front of the bridge, hedges, patch of flowers, and moat. When you're done, go back into the castle through the same doors and then step right back out again. There can also be multiple glowing ones at the same time. If you see one that's glowing, chase after it and catch it. The other three will be at the hedges on the left, the patch of flowers at the right, and in the drained moat. At the end of the bridge there will always be three bunnies. Change your character to Yoshi and step outside of the castle through the front door. You can collect all the eight glowing rabbits with whichever character you choose, in any part of the castle, though we've expertly devised a formula that'll help get you all of the eight glowing bunnies the fastest. They won't appear unless you caught a regular rabbit. They're so scarce, it's rare to find one.

How Do I Get All Of These Eight Glowing Rabbits? Open that door with any character, and after several seconds of hearing Boos' laughs, you'll instantly earn a secret Power Star. If you catch eight of these glowing rabbits, then you'll be rewarded with a key that unlocks the white door in the room with the Mario, Luigi, and Wario character doors and the Princess's Secret Slide level. In the game, you may or may not have noticed, but after collecting at least 8 Power Stars and unlocking Mario, the various mini-game character color-coded rabbits around the castle (outside the castle grounds, courtyard, and inside) will randomly be glowing.
